VMA 2024: Anitta consegue feito inédito e Taylor Swift lidera lista de indicados

A MTV divulgou, na tarde desta terça-feira (6), a lista com os indicados ao VMA 2024, principal premiação do canal. A loirinha Taylor Swift é a campeã em nomeações desta edição, liderando a disputa por dez troféus, sendo seguida por Post Malone (nove) e Ariana Grande (seis).

O principal brilho fica (pelo menos pra nós, brasileiros!) com Anitta. A poderosa de Honório Gurgel foi indicada pelo terceiro ano seguido e bateu um recorde de nomeações para uma artista nacional ao emplacar dois clipes em uma mesma categoria.

Ela disputa o troféu de Melhor Clipe Latino com “Mil Veces” e “BELLAKEO“, parceria com Peso Pluma. A primeira faixa também briga pelo prêmio de Melhor Edição.

Além dos nomes já mencionados, Ariana Grande, Eminem, LISA, Megan Thee Stallion, Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter e SZA aparecem no páreo.

Com transmissão mundial ao vivo, no próximo dia 10 de setembro, o evento também deve dar destaque para artistas novatos. Em 2024, receberam suas primeiras indicações nomes como Chappell Roan, Rauw Alejandro e Victoria Monét.

A partir de HOJE os fãs já podem votar em seus artistas favoritos em 15 categorias, incluindo a de Clipe do Ano. Melhor Featuring e Artistas do Ano também serão eleitas através do público, que pode se movimentar até o dia 30 de agosto.

Para a escolha de Artista Revelação, votos serão computados até a data do show principal. Neste ano, a premiação retorna para Nova York e acontece em 10 de setembro, na UBS Arena.
