BAFTA: “Bacurau” passa por eliminatória e pode concorrer a Melhor Filme em Língua Não-Inglesa

O British Academy Film Awards, mais conhecido como BAFTA, revelou hoje (04) uma longa lista de filmes que foram aprovados na primeira eliminatória e estão oficialmente elegíveis para a premiação. O brasileiro “Bacurau” marcou presença entre as produções em língua não-inglesa. Será que vem aí?

Dirigido por Kleber Mendonça e Juliano Dornelles, “Bacurau” disputa com outros 14 filmes por uma vaga ao prêmio de Melhor Filme em Língua Não-Inglesa. Dos 15, apenas cinco serão indicados. Títulos como “Les Misérables”, “Minari” e “Druk” (“Another Round”) apareceram na lista.

De modo geral, os filmes “Saint Maud”, “A Voz Suprema do Blues” (“Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom”), “Nomadland”, “Os 7 de Chicago” e “Ammonite” estão entre os principais candidatos ao BAFTA. A premiação está marcada para 11 de abril.
