Nesta quinta-feira (4), foi liberada a lista de indicados ao BAFTA TV Awards 2020. O British Academy Television Awards tem o objetivo de premiar grandes produções e performances da televisão britânica.
Entre os indicados desta edição, que acontecerá no dia 31 de julho, temos séries como “The Crown“, “Chernobyl“, a premiadíssima “Fleabag“, a primeira temporada de “RuPaul’s Drag Race UK” e até “Euphoria” como ato internacional.
Vale observar que, após as críticas para a versão da premiação voltada ao cinema com a hashtag “#BAFTASoWhite”, que apontava para a falta de representatividade do evento, a organização selecionou mais atores e produções com pessoas negras do que nas edições anteriores.
A série “Killing Eve“, que no ano passado teve 14 indicações, se tornou o seriado mais indicado na história do BAFTA. Já neste ano, quem chamou atenção foi “Chernobyl” com quatorze nomeações e “The Crown” com sete, enquanto “Fleabag” e “Giri / Haji” fecharam com seis.
